Day 3 of our 5 day fasting cleanse, I’ve decided to leave the details out of the actual cleansing part as it is a bit explicit. I will gladly individually speak to those who are interested. I have been in a 3 day Dao ingestive health course, which i find very interesting. The instructor is an Indian from London. She is very good. She has a great speaking voice and wonderful smile. She has been talking a lot about how different foods, moods, and environments affect different organs in the body. She doesn’t say what is good or bad in foods, more of moderation and to listen to how your body feels to determine what you should eat. She has also been teaching us abdominal massage and detoxing of the mind. I find it pretty interesting. I may give this new lifestyle a go for a bit to see how i feel. It looks like i am either going to have to take a boat or hike back over the mountain to Haad Rin so that i can withdraw more money. I am going to be about $1000 baht short of funds to pay my bill. This whole week will run me around $400 which doesn’t seem to bad a deal to be healthy, relaxed, and tan. The internet is very expensive and hardly ever works so i don’t want to wait to put up photos, when i get back to the mainland i will try and add a few. We are not going to take a dive course, too pricey. Maybe we will find one in Bali. I still may take a week in Australia, but i don’t know if Johnny will join me. I feel like i am too close not to go, and i don’t get to see those friends very often. A normal fasting day is:
7am: Pysllium/clay shake ( this tastes like watery cream of wheat with sand)
8:30am: Herbs ( just little capsules filled with who knows what)
10am clay shake
11:30am Herbs
1pm clay shake
2:30pm Herbs
2:50pm Lymph flush (carrot juice)
4pm clay shake
5:30pm colonic ( this is the details i have decided to leave out)
6pm coconut juice (my favorite part)
7pm vegi brooth (add all the pepper you want, it still tastes like hot lawn clippings)
8:30pm Herbs
9:30pm Probiotic ( a little white capsule)
So our bellys are full most of the day, so i am not feeling all that hungary until someone mentions food or worse i smell it. but heck we are practically half way and then we do a post cleanse of just certain foods then it is back to the good stuff.

Jan 28 12:30pm
Woke up early this morning, like every morning. Johnny and i took a hike over to Haad Rin. We were told it was about an hour and a half hike. It took us about that long, but it was a tough one for me. I had to rest a few times. The trail was pretty much straight up and the it leveled off and then straight down. I thought the up was hard until i headed down. I took it slow because of my leg. We did not stay on the other side for too long. I checked some internet. Email is very expensive on our side. I am trying to get the satellite channel for us to watch the Super Bowl, I think i have figured it out and today i will ask the guy at where we are staying since it will be showing here at 8am.
We are now sitting in the Sanctuary restaurant eating some of the best soup i’ve had. It is steamed vegis that are mashed into the consistency of Baby food, Abbie would love it. It is called Simple Soup. At 4:30 we take our PH test so we can’t eat or drink for an hour before. Then i guess we officially start our Fasting Cleanse??
We walked over to Haad Rin to check out on a dive course, it will take us about 5 days to get certified. We are going to meet with Malika tonight and discus if we all want to do that. We hiked over and then paid 200bht to boat back, there is no way i am going to be able to take that hike again. It is a longtail boat which is about 30’ by 4’ it has a full on V8 car engine on the back hooked up to a 15’ long shaft with a double bladed prop at the end. It is goofy looking and loud but it got us there. The waves were a bit high and the wind was blowing so we all got soaked. It was too rough to land on our beach so once again the landed us on the beach next door, but it is just a couple minute hike back over. Pictures take too much time on the internet to upload so it may just be words for a while.

i haven't taken my camera out yet, but Jonny has taken some photos. I will work on getting them up one of these days. I met Malika at the train station. While sitting there i was thinking to myself how much i enjoy traveling. Just sitting there with my dirty blistered feet on the floor, looking around watching all of the Thai's with their dirty jacked up feet. It is still early 9am, but we are going to look for a train\bus\boat out of here to go down to Koh Phanang. There might not be internet down there so if not those adventures will have to wait. We are hoping to hop a night train.
I think today we are going to check out China Town and their little market, we went yesterday but they were closing down. Had my first massauge (but they spelled it correctly from the place i always go. I told him about my broken leg, but i don't feel he eased up on my much. It was good though, i let out a couple of yelps. He is the same guy as last time. I like him because he is strong. There were a couple of Thail ladys doing up another patron. and Mr. John (my guy) would take my hand and put it onto the young Thai's hand or foot or but, and then we would all laugh. Those funny little Thais.
that is it for now

One night in Bangkok
Well we made it with no snags. I bought a thrift store sweatshirt before we left and was glad i did. It was freezing on the plane to Hong Kong and maybe high 50's in the airport. When we walked off the plane in Bangkok at 11:30pm i was pouring sweat and i loved it. I have donated my sweatshirt to some lucky Thai kid. I had made a reservation for a place to stay last night via the Internet. The name of the joint was Marco Polo, i had the address but never could find it. We walked around for a while yelling "Marco" but no one ever answered back "Polo" so instead we are staying at a place called "My Guest House" It was a few bhat pricier but it is my house and i am worth it. We are just sort of walking around town today. Malika arrives tomorrow morning and hopefully we will be headed down south tomorrow night.

I went ahead and reserved us a room for that night, to lessen the hassle. I will be writing soon after and and ataching photos as well.
